Eames vs. The Snow: A Once-in-a-Lifetime Adventure ❄️🐾

Snow on the Crystal Coast? Now that’s a rare sight! When we woke up to a winter wonderland, I knew I had to take Eames out for a proper snow day. We bundled up (yes, even Eames), braved the 17° temperatures, and headed to Boathouse Creek Walking Trails—one of our favorite open spots for a good run.

Eames, ever the goofball, was fascinated by the fluffy white stuff. He galloped through the snow, kicked up powder, and attempted to catch snowballs with the enthusiasm of a pup experiencing his first snowfall. Normally, he runs hot and isn’t a fan of clothes, but Maddox’s Duluth dog jacket kept him warm enough to keep the fun going a little longer.

While I don’t think he’d trade his coastal sunshine for this arctic blast anytime soon, I’m so glad we captured these once-in-a-lifetime moments. The way he leaped, spun, and turned the snow into his personal playground was pure joy—totally worth the frozen fingers!

Did your dog get to experience the snow? Drop a pic or tell me how they reacted in the comments! 🐶❄️
