In the hustle of our busy lives, it’s easy to take for granted the little moments we share with our furry companions. These moments, however, become incredibly precious as we realize our time together is limited. An end-of-life photography session is a heartfelt way to celebrate and honor your dog, capturing the essence of your bond and preserving the memories you'll cherish forever.

When to Schedule an End-of-Life Session

It's always better to schedule your session a day too early than a day too late. Ideally, as soon as you feel it's time, reach out. I prioritize these sessions to ensure they happen as soon as possible, often within a few days of your request. If your dog is simply aging without a specific diagnosis, we have more flexibility in scheduling.

What to Expect

• Pre-Session Consultation: We'll discuss your pet's personality, favorite activities, and any specific moments or details you want to capture.

• Comfort and Calm: The session will be conducted in a calm, stress-free environment, often at home or a favorite outdoor spot, ensuring your pet feels comfortable.

• Personal Touch: Feel free to bring your pet's favorite toys, treats, or sentimental objects to include in the photos.

• Emotional Support: Understanding the emotional weight of these sessions, I offer a supportive and understanding presence, allowing you to express your emotions freely.

Accommodating Special Needs

If your dog has limited mobility, don’t worry. We can capture a variety of beautiful images with your dog in one spot, prioritizing their comfort. We can also use a wagon or dog stroller to safely transport your pup to our chosen location.

Creating Beautiful Memories

Clients often expect these sessions to be very emotional but find that they become another beautiful memory. My priority is to keep your dog comfortable and safe while you snuggle and soak up all the love. There may be tears, and that’s okay. Just promise you’ll pass me a tissue too.

While similar to my signature portrait sessions, end-of-life sessions include extra time and receive priority booking.
