Boosting Shelter Adoptions with Professional Dog Photography: Daisy and Knucklehead's Story

When it comes to increasing the chances of adoption for shelter dogs, quality images play a pivotal role. As a professional dog photographer based in the Carteret County, I am dedicated to using my skills to help local shelters and rescues, like the Carteret County Humane Society, improve the visibility of their adoptable dogs. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing two adorable senior dogs, Daisy and Knucklehead, who are looking for their forever homes.

Meet Daisy and Knucklehead

Daisy, a 9-year-old sweetheart, and Knucklehead, a 12-year-old charmer, were surrendered to the Carteret County Humane Society when their owners became homeless and could no longer care for them. These senior dogs have been dreaming of a loving home where they can enjoy their golden years. They can be adopted together which they would prefer, but separately is okay. They are to bring joy and companionship to their new families.

Why Adopt a Senior Dog?

  1. House Trained and Leash Savvy: Daisy and Knucklehead are already house trained and know how to walk on a leash, making them easy to integrate into your home.

  2. Loving Companions: Both dogs love to be near someone who loves them. They enjoy being cozy and cuddling, bringing warmth to any household.

  3. Calm and Joyful: While their wild puppy days are behind them, Daisy and Knucklehead still have occasional bursts of excitement for walks, treats, and toys.

  4. Living in the Moment: These senior dogs savor life’s simple pleasures and enjoy each day, making them perfect companions for those who appreciate a slower pace.

  5. Never Too Late for Happiness: Adopting Daisy and Knucklehead, whether together or separately, proves that it is never too late for happiness for both you and them.

Visit the Carteret County Humane Society and meet Daisy and Knucklehead. You'll experience the joy of loving and being loved by two senior dogs who are ready to bring wisdom and warmth into your life.
